Welcome to LynkItUp, built by Sanitmat Global Tech. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you visit our website or use the LynkItUp application and tell you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.

2. Information we collect

We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of data about you which we have grouped together follows:

  • Account info: Email address and name, obtained via OAuth or manual sign-up.
  • Links you save: The URLs, metadata, and generated AI insights of the content you store.
  • Usage data: Information about how you navigate and interact with the features inside LynkItUp.
  • Device info: Model, OS, and analytics identifiers used for optimizing our mobile app experience.

3. How we use your information

We use your data in the following circumstances:

  • To provide and improve the LynkItUp service and its interface.
  • To generate AI analysis of your saved links, enabling smart categorization and topic generation.
  • To send notifications you have explicitly opted into.
  • We never sell your data to third parties.
  • We never use your saved links to train AI models. Your data remains yours.

4. Third party services we use

In order to provide our service, we share necessary data with trusted third parties:

  • Supabase: For secure database hosting and authentication.
  • Google Gemini API: For AI analysis. Links are sent for processing but are not stored by Google beyond the immediate API pipeline.
  • Google OAuth: If you elect to sign in utilizing your Google account.
  • Apple Sign In: If you elect to sign in utilizing your Apple account.
  • Vercel: For hosting our web application infrastructure.

5. Data retention

We will only retain your personal data for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or reporting requirements. Upon account deletion, all associated active link records and identifiers are securely expunged.

6. Your rights

Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data. You have the right to request access to your data, request correction, request erasure ("right to be forgotten"), object to processing, and request portability of your data.

7. Cookies
